The number question type can be found alongside all other question types, and has a selection of settings to fine-tune your question and gather the data you want. You can set a minimum and maximum value for the number, allowing custom ranges. In the example below we want to allow participants to enter their age. The range we have set up is to allow numbers between 18 and 80:
You can also set the number of decimal places, along with a prefix or postfix, to capture currency values.
Enabling the slider setting gives you an useful alternative to a text box:
