Question types available

There are many different survey question types available on Surveydaddy. Each type allows you to capture different data from your respondents:

• Free Text
• Multiple Choice
• Matrix / Likert
• Name
• Address
• Date/Time
• URL
• Email Address
• File Upload

The following are shown in the question type toolbar, but do not capture any data:

• Page Heading – Displays a heading to separate sections of a page
• HTML Snippet – Display any HTML

Tips

When designing your survey you should carefully consider the data that you are hoping to capture. For example, it is easier to collate and compare multi-choice answers than a free-form text question.
