Media Shortcodes

In conjunction with the media library, you can insert shortcodes into questions and answers that allow you to provide content from third-party websites. For example, you may wish to display a YouTube video, or show a document stored on Scribd.

Shortcodes begin and end with a square brace, and always contain a shortcode name, followed by some information:

You can insert a shortcode directly into the note of a question by clicking on its “Media” button, or into an HTML snippet question. Note that most shortcodes are only available when viewing a survey from a web browser.

Surveydaddy supports the following services. A shortcode example appears next to each service, as well as a link to a support page.
